Albion Park Show - 2019 Homebrew Competition

All Things Brewing - Different kinds of Brewed Products submitted to a competition

We had a great turnout for our 3rd Homebrew Competition with Albion Park Agricultural Show.
With 67 entries to taste; we couldn't have got through them all without the fantastic help of 14 judges and 6 helpers.
We appreciate each and every one of you!
Without these 20 people there would be no competition.

Being a family business, we also had our sons and daughter-in-law helping out, but special mention goes out to our granddaughter for taking on the role of bouncer and keeping everyone under control. She did such a good job that we must have her back next year.

If you're not a member of the Albion Park Agricultural Show; each entry will cost you a mere $1.

As of next year we will be taking EXTRACT BEER/CIDER entries and ALL GRAIN entries (if you did the boil yourself at home).

As you can see by the photos below, each 1st and 2nd place awards you a brew prize plus the usual $10 for 1st and $5 for 2nd. We've had sponsors MORGANS and MANGROVE JACK'S in the past and hope to get them back next year as our contestant numbers increase. The more entrants in the comp, the better the prizes;

so put some of your brews aside this year; you might be our next winner!

Congratulations to all those contestants who entered the comp. Its great to see some new names in the comp as we continue to expand and spread the good word of Homebrew.

And the winners are:....
